Compared to the previous model the 23' Ninja has been improved regarding essential features and now is more sensitive and stronger.

Thanks to the application of the new lightweight Airdrive Rotor the reel balance is shifted from the front unit to the lower reel part, leading to an improved total balance and a higher sensitivity at fishing. The lure feeling is improved and faster reactions are possible.

The precise and tough Digigear cares for high retrieving power and permanent silky-smooth and even running.

The new Airdrive bail is lighter than the previous version, highly durable and in combination with the new bail arm considerably decreases tanglings at casting. If the line should get tangled at the bail arm, it simply slides to the line roller via the arm when the handle is turned – to action necessary. The ATD Type-L drag cares for an even and optimized line release under strain without high starting resistance, providing the required safety when fighting large specimen. The aluminum Longcast ABS spool features a special spool rim that contributes to longer casting distances. The Twistbuster III design at the line roller is perfect for the use of braided lines: the braid doesn't get compressed during retrieving and less twist is the result.

Nya 23’ Ninja LT förenar modern japansk design med Daiwas välkända teknik – och erbjuder en oslagbar kombination av känsla, styrka och prisvärdhet. Nu finns modellen dessutom förspolad med J-Braid x4 gul flätlina, vilket gör att du kan börja fiska direkt ur kartongen.

Den lätta AIRDRIVE-rotorn flyttar balansen bakåt i rullen och ger högre känslighet, förbättrad beteskontroll och snabbare reaktioner i fisket. Inuti arbetar den precisa Tough Digigear-konstruktionen, som säkerställer mjuk gång och tillförlitlig kraftöverföring. Den nya AIRDRIVE-bygeln är både lättare och starkare än tidigare, och tillsammans med den förbättrade bygelarmen minskar risken för lintrassel avsevärt.

The AIRDRIVE ROTOR, made from lightweight ZAION material, is 16% lighter than previous designs, reducing inertia for smoother, more responsive rotation. AIRDRIVE ROTOR

Low inertia is the key.
The newly developed AIRDRIVE ROTOR is made from ZAION. Maintaining the strength of the rotor from 18 EXIST, DAIWA has been able to reduce the weight significantly. Designed with focus to create a perfectly round structure, trouble free and flawless rotation have been achieved.
The rotor unit itself has seen a 16% weight reduction compared to the previous model (Based on 2500 size reel) and will set the standard for what future rotor design of small spinning reels will be.

AIRDRIVE BAIL

Trouble free future.
DAIWA has constructed a bail smaller in diameter whilst providing required strength to achieve a further weight reduction to the front unit. In comparison to 18 EXIST, AIRDRIVE BAIL reduces the weight of the bail by 33% (compared to 2500 size).
DAIWA has adjusted the angle of bail setting to improve the line movement into the roller. Careful attention was given to the roller and slider and individual design alterations were done for each size of 22 EXIST, perfectly adjusting the line management for each size of the reel.

TOUGH DIGIGEAR

An evolution of Daiwa’s renowned Digigear system, Tough Digigear is designed for maximum strength, smoothness, and efficiency. By refining every detail—including gear diameter, thickness, tooth shape, and size—Daiwa has created a stronger, more durable gearing system that enhances both power transfer and longevity.
