Joining the Zillion family Daiwa introduces the new Zillion TW 150, designed for use with heavier braids while increasing casting distance. The new 150 size Zillion TW features Daiwa’s LC Concept Magforce-Z Boost Spool which engages the braking system during the beginning of the cast to prevent backlash and then quickly disengages to allow free rotation of the spool to increase distance.

Even with heavy braid and mono or fluorocarbon lines, distance is further increased thanks to the TWS or T-wing line guide that reduces line-friction. Daiwa’s ATD carbon drag provides an increased drag max of 6 kg with a buttery smooth drag payout to prevent pulling hooks or snapping lines.

The full HYPERDRIVE DESIGN is also incorporated to provide ultra smooth winding performance and maximized power transfer. Available in both left and right-hand retrieves, the new Zillion TW 150 is built for big baits, heavy braid and premium performance.

TWS（T-WING SYSTEM）
Daiwa’s T-Wing System (TWS) is a groundbreaking innovation that enhances casting performance by addressing the limitations of traditional level wind systems. Unlike conventional designs that restrict line flow, TWS features a T-shaped line guide that reduces friction, minimizes line angle, and allows for a smoother, more efficient cast. This results in longer, more accurate casts with less effort, while also decreasing line noise and backlash. During retrieval, the line settles into the narrow lower channel of the T-Wing for even and precise distribution across the spool. With TWS, Daiwa continues to redefine baitcasting reel performance, providing anglers with superior casting efficiency.
ATD
The biggest issue with many drag systems is that they are not smooth at the beginning of the drag.
ATD is fine tuned to react more quickly, the instant line release is required. This smoother start up eliminates the ‘snatch’ that previously occurred when tension inertia was overcome.
ATD also implements structural changes to the spool metal of the reel that provides greater support of the spool across the entire length of the main shaft. This additional support reduces spool twist under load, promotes more even pressure on the drag washers and ultimately reduces "pulsing" of the drag when fighting the fish.
CRBB
Shielded for extra protection. Unlike ordinary "corrosion resistant" bearings with un unprotected open race, DAIWA's CRBB ball bearings are shielded to seal out sand, fine grit, salt crystals and other abrasives for even longer life.
CRBB ball bearings feature an 12 times higher corrosion resistance than usual ball bearings.
