Classic design with modern twist and modern technology - SHOGUN. Shogun rods combine all recommendable attributes of a spinning rod for sea trout.

Due to the use of SVF carbon fiber, X45 construction and the Nanoplus technology, we were able to develop incredibly light blanks, which instantly resile to their starting position after the cast! The spigot joint with V-Joint technology enables the design of especially slim rods with enormously improved bending curve and increased resilience regarding the connections between all different parts. The X45 construction improves the compression of the blank and makes the whole rod even more distortion-proof – more precise casts and a reduced risk of fractures are the result!

X45-konstruktionen förbättrar komprimeringen av klingan och gör hela spöt ännu mer vridstyvt - mer exakta kast och minskad risk för sprickbildning är resultatet!

SVF NANOPLUS
Daiwa's exclusive Graphite Construction (SUPER HIGH VOLUME FIBER) combines precise resin control with unidirectional Graphite fiber to produce a blank with maximum graphite density. The blanks are extremely lightweight, powerful and sensitive.
Nanoplus: Resin material first is enriched with a nanoalloy compound and then is used for connecting the single carbon fibers, thus enabling the design of very lightweight and robust blanks.
X45
X45 and X45X Full Shield Technology revolutionize rod performance by reducing blank twist and increasing torsional stiffness. Unlike conventional carbon fiber constructions, X45 rods feature 45-degree carbon wraps that reinforce strength and distortion resistance while maintaining flexibility. The result: greater casting precision, improved lure control, and enhanced fighting power.
V-JOINT
On every rod the joint is an area of potential stiffness, interrupting the smooth shape of a rods curve. By applying bias carbon and V-Joint; turning the fibre direction into a diagonal position, our designers have delivered to the perfect balance between flex and strength.
AGS
The Air Guide System delivers amazing lightness and heightened sensitivity. The sensitivity is due to the stiffness of their innovative carbon frame which brings an improvement of rod control, performance and distance. AGS is also lighter by up to 40% compared to conventional guide systems. Carbon has around three times the rigidity of titanium and a high sensitivity that conveys feel into the blank without absorbing small signals travelling through the line.
