The TATULA family welcomes a new 200 model with the arrival of the all-conquering 25 TATULA 200. Delivering smoothness, strength, and plenty of muscle the new TATULA 200 is the designed to perform and built to be bullet proof day-after-day and fish-after-fish.

The new 25 TATULA TW 200 incorporates Daiwa’s newest baitcaster design concept, HYPERDRIVE DESIGN, for the first time. HYPERDRIVE is the culmination of multiple key-elements with the goal of creating a reel with more winding-power under load, that’s smoother and more refined and has a long-lasting feel.

HYPERDRIVE DIGIGEAR, TWS, and Magforce, deliver unmatched strength, smoothness, and precision both on the cast and on the crank, while Daiwa’s UTD drag gives you the muscle to stop just about anything that swims with its 6kg of drag smooth and trouble free. A large capacity 38mm spool gives the reel the ability to hold a tonne of line, while a large swept handle, complete with high-grip knobs, ensures maximum cranking power and control for the angler.

För första gången introduceras Daiwas senaste baitcaster-koncept Hyperdrive Design i Tatula-serien. Hyperdrive kombinerar flera nyckelteknologier med målet att skapa en rulle som ger mer kraft under belastning, är mjukare och mer förfinad i gången samt håller längre över tid.

Med Hyperdrive Digigear, TWS och Magforce får du en kompromisslös kombination av styrka, jämnhet och precision – både i kasten och under invevning. Daiwas beprövade UTD Drag levererar dessutom en stark och problemfri bromsverkan med upp till 6 kg kraft, tillräckligt för att stoppa i princip vad som helst som hugger.

TWS（T-WING SYSTEM）

Daiwa’s T-Wing System (TWS) is a groundbreaking innovation that enhances casting performance by addressing the limitations of traditional level wind systems. Unlike conventional designs that restrict line flow, TWS features a T-shaped line guide that reduces friction, minimizes line angle, and allows for a smoother, more efficient cast. This results in longer, more accurate casts with less effort, while also decreasing line noise and backlash. During retrieval, the line settles into the narrow lower channel of the T-Wing for even and precise distribution across the spool. With TWS, Daiwa continues to redefine baitcasting reel performance, providing anglers with superior casting efficiency.

Hyperdrive Design – The Next Generation of Baitcasting Performance: Daiwa’s Hyperdrive Design is a cutting-edge engineering concept that enhances power, durability, and efficiency in baitcasting reels. By integrating advanced manufacturing techniques, Hyperdrive Design ensures smooth and consistent performance under heavy loads, setting a new standard for reel longevity and strength. This innovative system is built on four key elements: Hyper Armed Housing – a rigid metal frame (magnesium or aluminum) that eliminates flex and keeps internal components perfectly aligned; Hyperdrive Digigear – a precision-machined gear system with larger, stronger teeth for superior smoothness and endurance; Hyper Double Support – a dual ball-bearing support system for the pinion gear, enhancing power transmission and durability; and Hyper Tough Clutch – a reinforced clutch mechanism that stays securely engaged even under extreme casting pressure.

HYPER ARMED HOUSING

The HYPER DRIVE DESIGNconcept comprises a combination of different manufacturing techniques, which considerably improve the functioning and the lifespan of a baitcasting reel.

MAGFORCE

MAGFORCE – The Origin of Daiwa’s Non-Contact Braking Innovation: Since 1982, Daiwa has pioneered non-contact electromagnetic braking systems. At the core of this legacy is MAGFORCE—our simplest and most enduring concept. It uses a fixed induct rotor that spins within a magnetic field, generating eddy currents that create a braking force naturally opposing the rotor’s rotation, based on electromagnetic induction. The result is smooth, stable braking without physical contact. Thanks to its fixed rotor design, the braking force remains consistent at the dialed-in setting, offering reliable performance cast after cast. This system is featured in select reel models where simplicity, durability, and consistent control are key.
