Jonas has a strong passion for sea trout fishing, which has shaped many of his experiences along coasts and fjords. In Denmark where he lives , he primarily targets sea trout and sea bass, but he also regularly travels to Sweden, especially areas such as Gotland and Skåne, where the landscape and fishing offer new challenges. He applies a versatile and methodical approach to fishing, using heavier rods and lures on the open coast, while switching to lighter, more refined tackle when fishing the smaller fjords. What truly drives his passion is the wide range of aspects and approaches that sea trout fishing has to offer, from lure selection and choice of location to reading the water, weather conditions, and fish behavior. His absolute favorite style of fishing is finesse fishing with smaller lures in shallow water in the fjords, where precision, patience, and attention to detail make all the difference.
