SVF Carbon achieves greater lightness, power and a slimmer profile by reducing the amount of resin even further than in HVF, thereby allowing for a higher density of carbon fibres.

To prevent twisting that occurs during actions such as casting, retrieving, hooking and fighting, many years of research have led to the conclusion that, in addition to conventional structures (0° and 90° relative to the rod tip), reeling a ‘45°’ bias cross (carbon fibres angled at ±45°, for example) is the optimal solution for preventing twisting. The incorporation of X45 prevents twisting and delivers a dramatic improvement in power, manoeuvrability and sensitivity.

AIR SENSOR SEAT

The AIR SENSOR SEAT, incorporating carbon fibre, offers a lightweight design, high strength and high sensitivity. It is specifically designed for the Rod’s intended use, delivering a level of manoeuvrability that cannot be achieved with a standard reel seat.

MEGA TOP

MEGATOP is a carbon solid in which fibres and resin are uniformly dispersed, exhibiting the same degree of flex in every direction. As a result, its strength is dramatically improved compared to conventional carbon solids. This makes it possible to create a rod tip that is slender, flexible and highly tapered, resulting in a rod tip that not only offers excellent sensitivity through the rod but also provides superior visual sensitivity, allowing the angler to detect even the slightest bite.

V-JOINT

By incorporating carbon sheets with a bias structure at the rod joints, the rod achieves a beautiful, smooth bend with minimal distortion, much like a one-piece rod. Compared to models without this feature, power, tension and the speed at which the rod returns to its original shape after bending are significantly enhanced, resulting in an ideal action.
