The SEABORG 1200MJ is now fitted with a Mega Torque-G motor, and thanks to improved durability, the motor is now covered by a 3-year or 300 km warranty.
With a maximum Drag Force of 36 kg and a JAFS winding power of 52 kg, it offers an approximately 10 per cent increase in power compared to the previous model.
The Mega Twin, which switches from Speed Mode to Power Mode depending on the load, handles even unexpected Big Ones with ease.
The unit is compatible with supply voltages of 12–24 V and can be used in all kinds of situations, including with genuine DAIWA batteries, as well as on recreational fishing boats, commercial fishing vessels and pleasure craft.
It is also compatible with the ‘REMOTE JOG’ unit, which is sold separately. This allows you to wind the line and check the depth from a distance. You can wind a large electric reel with just the touch of a thumb, as if it were a small electric reel.

MAGSEALED BALL BEARING
Using its proprietary technology, DAIWA has succeeded in becoming the first in the world to apply MAGSEALED technology to the ball bearing itself. A wall of magnetic fluid prevents water and foreign particles from entering the interior of the ball bearing, thereby significantly reducing rust, salt deposits and abnormal noises whilst maintaining the ball bearing’s inherent rotational performance.

With large electric reels, which are almost always left to run on their own, there is a slight delay in the response when you are away from the reel.
