DAIWA Technology

Muscle PE

A PE line with an exceptionally tight weave, even amongst DURA sensors
High-density PE comprising four technologies: UVF, TOUGH PE, Evo Silicone 2, Evo Silicone 3 and Muscle Braiding
It is characterised by its resistance to abrasion, improved durability, reduced noise, increased distance and trouble-free performance.

TOUGH PE

A new type of yarn has been used, in which each individual filament is thicker and more perfectly circular than conventional yarn, thereby improving strength, abrasion resistance and durability. This yarn has been plied into a single strand, which is then further braided into strands of 4, 8 or 12 filaments.

UVF

This is DAIWA’s proprietary manufacturing process, which involves braiding the fibres whilst compressing them, and is characterised by its high abrasion resistance and strength.

EvoSilicone2 (+Si2)

DAIWA’s proprietary special silicone coating enhances wear resistance, improves glide and increases durability.

Muscle Braiding

The tight weave makes it resistant to shock-induced breakage, thereby minimising problems.
