2017 January, Clermont-Ferrand in France - The earliest fishing show for this year was held.

Clermont-Ferrand show is an important year-opening show, as key brands introduce their new line up to consumers at this event. As the newest items can be observed at this large show,over 10,000 visitors are expected to attend every year. Since it will be the season's first show, not only to consumers, but this is one of the key events for all European companies in the fishing industry as well.

This year there were some flurries during the 3 days show but inside the show building was overwhelmed with heat of excitement,showing an increase of visitors compared to last year. Since many types of fishing are enjoyed in France, from smallest size of spinning reels for trout fishing to items to go after the big fish offshore, wide range of consumers were carefully observing tackles for their favorite fishing. On weekends many young people in teens and 20s attended, indicating the high interest of fishing amongst the youth.

At the Daiwa booth "Morethan" and "Saltiga BJ" reels with the Monocoque Body and Magsealed were very popular amongst the visitors.

Daiwa's "Prorex" - the category brand for predator fishing- a very popular type of fishing in Europe, also attracted many people.

Anglers will be able to feel the brilliance of these new items in stores and out in the fields this year!
