GW NORWAY

Daiwa has created a series of hackles and tackles called Grandwave. The feather rigs and tackle have been developed by Daiwa's own Petter Skudal, who is a multiple European sea fishing champion. On the back of the pack you will find a schematic illustration of the rigs in the pack, with distances, diameters, hook sizes and simple user tips. In general, the tackle is intended to be baited, while the feather rigs can be used both with and without bait.

GW NORWAY MIDN. SUN PLAICE 1/0: This rig is designed for large plaice, and the new Norwegian record for plaice was caught on it! Test fishing has yielded excellent results, with the record fish mentioned above being the crowning glory. A great tip is to use boiled prawn as bait!

GW NORWAY HVITTING-HADDOCK 2/0: This is a rig intended for whiting and haddock, but other species will of course also bite on it. It is intended to be baited with, for example, strips of herring, mackerel, squid, shrimp, mussels, etc.

GW NORWAY FLATTFISH 4: This is a scaled-down version of the Midnight Sun Plaice rig with slightly smaller hooks. Both Plaice, Sand Flounder and other species that live near the bottom will nibble on this.

GW NORWAY ALLROUND LIGHT 1/0: An all-round lure with smaller hooks that can fool a variety of species, such as cod, whiting, haddock and flatfish.

GW NORWAY L-T-C-H 7/0: This is a rig designed to be fished with larger bait at greater depths for species such as ling, tusk and tench.

GW NORWAY ALLROUND 5/0: An all-round rig with larger hooks for bigger fish. Depending on bottom conditions and depth, you can catch cod, haddock, ling, wolffish and other species.

GW NORWAY ALLROUND MEDIUM 3/0: A rig with slightly smaller hooks designed for species such as cod, haddock, larger whiting, wolffish and larger flatfish.
