Spin fishing in the sea is becoming increasingly popular, and Daiwa has developed a brand new range of rods for active casting for halibut, cod, pollack, saithe and other relevant species.

The two-piece models are 7.6 feet long and have action adapted to both soft and hard baits. You can use soft jigs for halibut, surface baits for pollack and saithe aswell as jigs for cod. The guides are large enough to allow knots between mono and braided line to slip through, the triangular front handle provides a good and comfortable grip both when fishing and fighting fish, and there is a cross-butt at the end in case you need to use a rod holder.

The lightest model is rated for weights from 120-250 grams, while the most powerful is rated from 180-350 grams. There is also three-piece model of the lightest rod for travellers.
